NCP-VET-CO project results

Main results of the project were:

Platform for dialogue and cooperation between NCPs - Through the NCP-VET-CO project the NCPs of Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Romania have created platform for dialogue and cooperation, common or conflicting challenges and – eventually – mutual trust.
Mutual trust between partner countries - based on sharing partner countries experiences and best practises. This was all compiled to a paper: "Partner countries’ experience in referencing national qualifications frameworks and qualifications to the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning".

PHASE 2	We know how the National Qualification Systems are built up in each country We know how professional/VET-qualifications in terms of competencies are described
PHASE 3	Common principles were worked out how to recognise VET-qualifications by means of EQF. Recognition of competencies when moving towards a professional/VET-qualification Good practices how countries have used ECVET in this process were described.
PHASE 4	We know how the competences and professions / VET-qualifications are classified. Putting into practice: We have found out sectors and professional areas where each country has best practices in describing the learning outcomes and evaluation criteria.
PHASE 5	We have an overview how quality assurance systems are built up in different countries, we can use good practises.
PHASE 6	Best practice guide for linking VET/professional qualifications to EQF was compiled

Dissemination and use of results

Each partner has put information about this project on their homepage in English and in their national language. Each partner disseminated gained information on their in-house meetings and also in meetings organized for their stakeholders.

As all the participating organizations are public bodies and they are cooperating with employers, training institutions, ministries and other stakeholders, this information was disseminated very widely.

Reports from meetings present these findings and meetings' minutes were disseminated to all interested parties and stakeholders.
